This approaches the topic of business from an interpersonal perspective, highlighting the importance of building relationships more than anything else. It details how people do business with friends, and the best way to make friends is to provide value.
The well-known work by Stephen Covey, 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People is the simple yet monumental read that can help instill the simple habits that lead to big changes. Covey’s whole theory is that simple habits repeated over and over again are what drive success—and he’s right.
John C. Maxwell is one of the staple self-development thought leaders, and he does a phenomenal job in The 15 Invaluable Laws Of Growth explaining exactly what you need to do to increase your growth curve. When it comes to entrepreneurship, it’s all about growth. Apply these principles and you will reap the rewards of your hard work.
Here’s the curveball book: Entrepreneurship as a pursuit is no joke. It’s exhausting, it’s grueling, it’s competitive, it’s stressful—and so it’s extremely important that you take time to maintain balance. David Deida does an incredible job of diving into the qualities of masculine energy, and more importantly, how vital interactions with feminine energy (*cough cough*) are to keeping things in perspective.
