You know what’s hard about running a business?

You will never have enough time.

It’s the one thing you’re constantly up against.

Whether it’s having enough time to finish a project or enough time to spend with family; the balance of your schedule when running a business is one of the hardest things. We’ve written before about some of the tools that we use to run Hustle & Grind but this time, I wanted to talk specifically about social.

I wanted to talk about a few tools that are both easy to use and cost efficient for managing your social media accounts. In this blog post, I’m going to share a few tools that have helped us be more effective in managing our social media accounts.

These tools have saved us lots of time and money. We’re confident that they’ll be able to do the same for you.  Let’s get to it, shall we…

Later – Upload and Schedule your Instagram Posts

Latergramme - Social Media App

Creating a following of more than 40,000 people on Instagram was no easy task.

It took a lot of late nights, early mornings and many cups of coffee.

But if it wasn’t for later, it’s no question that our success would have taken longer. This is a tool that arms you with the ability to schedule your Instagram posts well in advance. The mobile and desktop experiences are both user-friendly and easy to navigate.

You simply upload a visual, move it along the calendar to the moment you want your post published, write a caption and that’s a wrap. The app will give you a push notification once the post is ready to go live and you’ll have to confirm and publish the post to your followers. Instagrams terms of service don’t allow users to do auto posts which make this the best experience.

We’ve been using Later for the last few months and cannot rave enough about the time it’s saved us. Latergramme offers both a paid and free version depending on your scheduling needs. We use the paid account because of the level of activity we use but give it a test drive and let us know what you think!

Pablo – Create great images for your social media posts

Pablo by Buffer

As you can tell from our Instagram or Twitter account, we’re big fans of quality visuals & quotes:

Coffee

While Pablo might not be the tool to arm you with the ability to create a visual like ours, it’s a great tool for creating images in less than 30seconds.

The Buffer team has done a great job with this product filling the gap for social media images. Rather than sharing posts with nothing more than a link and 140 characters of text, Pablo arms you with the ability to attach a quick and captivating visual with your post to drive increased engagement.

Studies have already shown that tweets with images received 18% more clicks than those that don’t along with 150% more retweets. Pablo is a great tool that covers every network ranging from Facebook and Twitter to Instagram and Pinterest. It’s definitely worth checking it out!

Crate – Schedule & share the best content online

Crate Entrepreneurship

One of the biggest time wasters on social media is the constant struggle of finding content to share on your Twitter or Facebook account. When you share quality content about a specific topic, people tend to associate the content with you. As such, sharing solid and on point, content is a great way to raise your profile and establish authority within a specific niche.

As an example, here at Hustle & Grind, we’re striving to inspire people all over the world to be entrepreneurs and chase their dreams. On our Twitter account, you’ll come across a handful of articles and links that we believe would help wantrepreneurs, hustlers and entrepreneurs in their life. Most of this content comes from a Content Curation tool called Crate.

The process for getting started is simple. We developed a Crate called “Entrepreneurship & Hustle.”

We added a few keywords like “Entrepreneurship” and “Productivity Hacks” along with the domain Entrepreneur.com to the Crate as the app uses these keywords and domains to find great articles. Within a few seconds, Crate delivered back 20-30 articles that based on this information and allowed us to schedule and share enough content to last the week.

And you know what they say: Time is money.

Conclusion

Like I said earlier, managing your time is one of the biggest struggles for hustlers.

We know this.

And that’s why we’ve written this post. We want you to work hard but also work smart. Take advantage of tools like these above and give yourself an advantage over those who continue to resist change.
